It broke out yesterday afternoon on Tara Hill, with multiple units of the fire service working through the night to bring it under control.
Five crews remain at the scene of the fire outside Gorey right now, after working through the night.
The crews, from Gorey, Bunclody, Arklow and Carnew are working alongside Coillte, Gardaí and local farmers, who are aiding with the supply of water tankers, traffic control and the creation of fire breaks in the area.
A drone has also been deployed to monitor the situation.
This blaze broke out at around 3.45 yesterday afternoon - on the hill just North of Ballymoney.
It's resulted in large plumes of smoke, affecting many areas in the locality.
Wexford County Council are asking people living or working in the immediate area to remain indoors, close all doors and windows and switch off ventilation systems.
They have issued the same advice to people in Gorey, Bunclody and Ferns, who may be elderly, have small babies or have a breathing condition.
It's hoped a mist which has started to fall in the Tara Hill area will assist in further containing the fire.
