Residential property prices rose by 14.4% across the country last year.
Outside of Dublin, the Mid-East was the most expensive region, with an average price of €339,157.
Wicklow was the most expensive county, with a mean price of €433,364.
In Dublin the increase was 13.1%, while outside the capital they were up by 15.4% .
The median price of a home bought in 2021 was €280,000.
The lowest median price in the twelve months to December was in Longford at €130,000, while the highest was in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown at €595,000.
