An additional funding support of €9,276,390 will assist Wicklow County Council in progressing repairs to local roads in the county.
According to Transport Minister Shane Ross, that should allow approximately 2,400 kilometres of regional and local roads to be maintained.
It would also see 2,150 kilometres strengthened this year.
