Hollywood National did not open to pupils for in class teaching today with Principal Séamas Ó Briain declining to comment on the development.
The Department of Education says it doesn't comment on individual cases.
The move comes as a primary school in Wexford Town will remain closed until after the mid-term break because of a Covid 19 outbreak.
More than 30 cases of the virus have been reported with more test results expected in the coming days.
The principal of the school said the emergency decision was taken to protect students and their families.
