A body was found last night during the search for a woman who went missing in the Comeragh Mountains in county Waterford at the weekend.
The 37-year-old had been in regular contact with family members up till about 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon.
About 30 mountain rescue team members along with the Coast Guard Air and Sea Rescue and the 117 Sikorsky helicopter took part in a search yesterday and a body was found last night.
It’s believed she may have injured herself and sheltered in a wooded area.
