Planning for the Blessington Greenway has been refused by An Bord Pleanála (ABP) after concerns were raised over the proposed development’s potential impact on drinking water from the Poulaphouca Reservoir and the displacement of local bird species.
ABP officials also weren’t satisfied that the development would not have adverse impacts on the surrounding area of the Wicklow Mountains.
