Jennifer Whitmore elected into the 34th Dáil

Jennifer Whitmore (Social Democrats) has been elected into the 34th Dáil taking the second seat this weekend.

The quota for the Wicklow count is 11,415.

Joe Behan (Independent)- 123 ninth count votes, 4,570 votes in total.

John Brady (Sinn Fein)- 202 ninth count votes, 10,491 votes in total.

Shay Cullen (Independent)- 108 ninth count votes, 4,883 votes in total.

Stephen Donnelly (Fianna Fail) - 392 ninth count votes, 5,473 votes in total.

Edward Timmons (Fine Gael)- 392 ninth count votes, 6,775 in total.

Jennifer Whitmore (Social Democrats) - 1,743 ninth count votes, 12,224 votes in total. 809 surplus votes. Elected

Jennifer Whitmore was elected into the Dáil in 2020 and has run as a TD for Wicklow since then. Her 2024 win has gotten her re-elected as TD. 

Whitmore has exceeded the quota by 809 votes.

Whitmore's surplus votes will be distributed shortly.
