A couple living in Bray, who set up a scheme to provide bikes for Ukrainian refugees as a vital means of local transport, have made a fresh appeal for donations as more people arrive from the war-torn country, while others are relocated to rural settings.
Philip Carey and Claudia Schmid have been running a free bike scheme since May, 2022, with great success, and so far have deployed hundreds of bikes to refugees in south Dublin and north Wicklow.
